Vermont Tree Spirits LLC of Rutland City (VTS) was established in 2015 at the Winter Farmers Market by Kathleen Krevetski, one of 2012’s original founders of the Vermont Farmers Food Center.

Since opening in 2015, Vermont Tree Spirits has fused local food products with ethnic herbs and spices to create recipes that are both flavorful and enhance good health. Local food manufacturing facilities for VTS have been stalled as Krevetski, a retired nurse, has delayed further VTS food production until the known neurotoxic contaminant fluorsilicic acid is removed from the city’s drinking water which would’ve been needed for its production.

Vermont Tree Spirits has since expanded in scope with its innovative campaign-like style and opened a new home office at 68 Lincoln Avenue, while still in the midst of dual pandemic and climate crises facing the greater-Rutland community. Currently focused on increasing awareness and defining the framework of environmental issues facing Rutland City, VTS will cater to local business startups as they address serious post-pandemic and climate changes already affecting the community.

Vermont Tree Spirits believes good, healthy food – produced locally from people we know – will stimulate the regional economy and grow local business startups exponentially with VTS consulting, eCommerce solutions, and business-promotion skills providing support. VTS brings diverse stakeholders together to share and collect ideas, while finding out what works better for Rutland City.
